Woodworking

Hardwoods · Plywoods · Reclaimed

From single custom cutting boards to bespoke furniture, turned pieces, and precision CNC-cut components — woodworking is where VARO Industries' roots are deepest. We work with select hardwoods, quality plywoods, and reclaimed material depending on the project's needs. Custom signs, shelving, CNC-routed panels, and everything in between. Every piece is finished with attention to grain, edge, and detail. If it's made of wood and you need it custom, we want to talk.

Metal Work

Steel · Aluminum · Custom Hardware

Custom welded assemblies, brackets, mounts, and small-run hardware components. Built for function and form — dimensionally accurate, properly finished, built to last. Whether you need a one-off bracket or a small run of identical parts, we can help. Note: we do not do laser cutting or plasma cutting of metal. Our metal work is welding, fabrication, and custom hardware.

Digital Fabrication

3D Print · Laser · CNC

Digital tools extend what's possible in the shop. FDM 3D printing for prototypes, functional parts, and complex geometries that can't be made by hand. Laser engraving and cutting on wood, leather, and acrylic — from simple text to detailed artwork. CNC wood routing for repeatable precision cuts, inlay work, and parts with tight tolerances. Our laser works on wood, leather, and acrylic — not metal. These tools shine brightest when combined with traditional craft.

The Process

1
Inquiry

Tell us what you need. Use the contact form, send an email, or reach out on Etsy. The more detail you give — dimensions, materials, timeline, reference photos — the better.

2
Design

We'll discuss details, materials, and timeline. For complex projects we may produce sketches or digital mockups. Pricing is confirmed before any work begins. No surprises.

3
Build

Crafted in the shop. We typically provide progress photos for larger pieces so you can see it coming together and flag anything before it's finished.

4
Deliver

Shipped nationwide or local pickup in Massachusetts. Everything is carefully packaged and photographed before it goes out the door.

FAQ

Most custom orders run 1–3 weeks depending on complexity and current shop load. Simple leather goods and small 3D prints are often faster; furniture and multi-part fabrication projects may take longer. Rush turnaround is available — mention it when you reach out and we'll do our best.
No minimums. One-off pieces are absolutely welcome — they're actually what we prefer. Every order gets the same level of attention whether it's a single wallet or a run of twenty brackets.
Yes — and we prefer it when you have them. We accept SVG, DXF, STL, PDF, and most common CAD/design formats. No files? Describe what you need and we'll handle the design side. A sketch, photo reference, and dimensions is usually all we need to get started.
No. Our laser is a diode/CO₂ unit suited for wood, leather, and acrylic. We do not do laser cutting or plasma cutting of metal. Metal work at VARO Industries means welding, fabrication, and custom hardware — not laser or plasma processes.
Fill out the contact form with your project details — what you need, approximate dimensions, materials if you have a preference, and your timeline. The more detail you provide, the faster we can turn around an accurate quote.
Yes, nationwide. Smaller items ship USPS or UPS. Large or fragile pieces are crated and quoted individually. Local pickup is also available in Massachusetts if you're nearby and want to skip the shipping cost.
